From the Face of the Earth
That’s where I’ve fallen, apparently. In case you’re wondering why there haven’t been any updates in like, FOREVER, it was because I was getting ready for (and subsequently partaking in) a trip to Colorado to visit my father.
But I didn’t stick him in a comic for Father’s Day like I did my mother. I just cooked him breakfast, haha. But he’ll more than likely show up sometime later.
And by later, I mean sometime after July 20th, which is the soonest I’ll be able to make any updates on account of lack of Tablet. But you can wait until then, right?
I’m not even AROUND my mom anyway, so beyond phone conversations (which, with mom, aren’t as inherently humorous as they are in person) I wouldn’t have any convos with her anyway.
So I guess enjoy purgatory for a little bit. And while you’re there, pass me around to people whom may or may not have seen these yet! :D ~Devi ❤
#4 - It’s all out of love.
Recently I’ve had to watch my aunt’s anklebiter Yorkie, Nyla, for a month. My mom’s not too fond of dogs. You do the math. (But leave it to the majors if it’s too tough for you.)
It’s a Go!
I’ve just released the series upon the world~! In celebration for its premiere, I’ve made a new signature avatar thing and everything! Look how official it looks now. If only I knew HTML coding I could totally scrape up some kind of theme or something. (But I’m too lazy to learn.)
#3 - By the way, we burned the basket.
I bet my real mom is good at Wii Bowling. I certainly don’t get my skills from this one.
(That’s my real setup, btw. What you don’t see is my Wii in front of my mom’s poofy hair and the Gamecube in front of my big head.)
#2 - Falling from pedestals hurts.
Rule #152 of the Parenthood 101 guidebook as seen on page 60, paragraph 13, subsection Q, “Embarrass children whenever humanly possible.” Look it up! (Don’t bother, I’m lying.)
#1 - Take a shower, janky.
Happy Mother’s Day, everyone. My present to MY mother is to start a webcomic series starring her (but really it’ll star me. Well, both of us. But I get top billing). It’ll follow the magical tales of parental sarcasm, rebellious offspring and maybe the occasional lady-of-the-evening. After all, everyone loves easy virtue, right?
It’s here!
Well not yet. But it’s being constructed. Of course, anything good is always under construction when it’s announced. Why should this be any different?
It’s here! And I got to use strikethrough font! It’s a good day.
